INTRODUCTION TO PAUL SMITH, REGENCY LOFTS LIMITED

Paul was certainly one of the most successful racing pigeon fanciers during his racing career, he then went on and formed the world famous internationally renowned "REGENCY LOFTS RACING AND BREEDING STUD" and he literally travelled the world promoting the sport that he loves. He sold all his pigeons in 1994 after winning many of the top awards in the sport. During his time in the sport he has acted as the Great Britain or the United Kingdom Race Co-ordinator for at least twenty-two internationally acclaimed worldwide one-loft races.

Paul also had the distinction of winning many top awards at local and national shows and he went on and won twenty-one Pigeon Olympiad Gold Medals and two Silver Medals. One of his greatest achievements was to be elected as the Great Britain Pigeon Olympiad Team Manager for the 1983 and 1985 Pigeon Olympiads. He has also acted as the International Race Co-ordinator for the greatest one-loft in the world today, namely The Sun City Million Dollar, which has paid out over US$8 million dollars in prize money in the last eight years and is now into its ninth year.

I am the United Kingdom and International Race Co-ordinator for this race and it is without doubt the biggest and most prestigious one-loft pigeon race in the world today and the one with the proven track record, it offers a first prize of US$200,000. Unfortunately many pigeon fanciers can't actually afford the full entry fee to enter their own pigeons into these types of races, or in fact any person that doesn't even keep pigeons can't enter because they do not know anybody that keeps pigeons.
